Quick Guide
Interior Cleaning
Start at the top so debris falls onto surfaces being removed.
Remove gun socks (cut off with scissors).
Vacuum walls and interior surfaces (preferred over blowing dust).
Remove and replace dirt trap material.
Remove side shields carefully (do not drag across belt).
Remove filters and vacuum beneath them as needed.
Clean overspray:
Solvent-based coatings → solvent + rags
Water-based coatings → water / water-based cleaner
Clean rubber flaps:
Remove overspray first (gloved hand preferred)
Clean with soap and water only (no solvent)
Clean side shields:
Remove old covering
Clean shields
Apply fresh 3M dirt trap material
Install new accordion filters (typically daily).
Gun Arm Protection
Install hosiery-style gun socks over gun arms.
Tie off top and bottom.
Tear openings for nozzles.
Ensure no material on air cap threads.
Paper & Take-Up Roll Service
Cut paper and remove take-up roll.
Disconnect grounding clip, pin, and air line.
Install new core:
Paper must be even with core edges
Tape paper evenly
Reinstall roll and ensure wheel is in track.
Reconnect air line, pin, and grounding clip.
Conveyor Check
Start Manual Mode.
Go to Manual → Conveyors.
Run paper through until dirty paper exits.
Start/stop multiple times to verify proper operation.
Exterior Cleaning
Clean windows:
First with acetone (removes buildup)
Then with glass cleaner to remove haze
Final visual inspection.
