Summary
This video explains how to safely unload a Superfici spray booth from its shipping container. The booth is secured from above using steel cables that must be removed before lifting. Proper weight distribution, careful forklift operation, and height control are critical to prevent damage.
Quick Guide
Tools Required
Ladder
Impact driver with 13 mm socket (deep well recommended)
Forklift (larger forklift with longer forks preferred)
Steel skates
Cable Removal
Use a ladder to access the top of the machine.
Locate the steel securing cables.
Using a 13 mm socket, remove nuts from the turnbuckles on both sides.
Remove the cables and inspect container crossbars for damage or interference.
Use caution—top of the machine is not flat; distribute weight and use side rails when crawling.
Removing the Booth from the Container
Place forklift forks wide apart under the main support beams.
Lift using the area under the shelf, avoiding glass panels on one side.
Do not lift the machine too high:
Maintain minimum 6 inches of clearance between the top of the booth and the container header.
Use steel skates under the third horizontal runner to pivot and slide the machine out.
Roll the booth straight back and onto the floor.
Accessory Pallet Removal
Inspect pallet for cables or nails securing it.
Lift with forklift under the support beams.
Monitor top corners and sides carefully, especially when exiting the container ramp.
Compensate for forklift angle changes to avoid contacting the container roof.
Key Warnings
Never lift the booth into the container header.
Watch top corners and glass panels at all times.
Containers are tight—move slowly and deliberately.
